Rebekah Pearce Commits to Colby College

Gladstone volleyball player, Rebekah Pearce, has committed to the Colby College Trojans. Rebekah will take her place with the Colby team in August 2014.

Colby Community College is an institution located in Colby, Kansas, United States, established in 1964. The school colors are blue and white, and the mascot is the Trojans. They participate in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference. In addition to volleyball, the Trojans field teams in basketball, cross country, golf, softball, tennis, baseball, and track and field.

Arkansas-Little Rock signs AAA's Steph Phillips

The University of Arkansas in Little Rock has signed AAA's Stephanie Phillips to play volleyball for the Trojans starting in July this year. Stephanie has just graduated from Redlands College and has represented Queensland and Australia throughout her junior career. She is currently coached by Grant Robertson as a QAS athlete.

Steph chose the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) because of it's academic and volleyball strength, and because of the strong relationship she was able to build with the coaches.

College Tennis Has Big Influence on Australian Open

With only 3 days to go in the 2014 Australian Open one thing is clear. US college tennis has had a big inlfluence on the event.

In the main draws alone, US College tennis players have accounted for 33 wins. Their were 4 college players in the semi-finals of the doubles. Gustavus Adolphus's Eric Butorac (NCAA DIII) and Raven Klaasen will battle Pepperdine's Robert Lindstedt (NCAA DI) and Lukasz Kubot for the Men's title this weekend.
